Patten, William. Pioneering The Telephone In Canada.
Montreal, PQ, Canada: Privately Printed, 1926. First edition Cloth and Paper Good in Fair, but torn DJ
Cloth black spine with boards covered in blue paper. The front board shows gilt lettering and graphic. The corners are frayed and the top of the spine has two quarter inch tears. Privately printed by author and is one of two thousand copies. Contributions to the history of the telephone based on original notes and reminiscences including a hitherto unpublished account of the telephone by A. Melville Bell. Illustrated. DJ is in two pieces and the missing the spine. Note included states "Hamilton, June 18 - 19, 1926. The Bell Telephone Company of Canada has pleasure in presenting to you as a member of the Charles Fleetford Sise Chapter (No. 26) of the Telephone Pioneers of America this copy of "Pioneering the Telephone in Canada," issued to commemorate the Fiftieth Anniversary of the telephone". 139 pages.
