The Chandos Classics. Translated into English from the original Arabic. Front and rear hinges are torn, but the webbing is intact. Red boards with green, gilt and black embossed graphics and black lettering on front boards. The spine is faded and the front board has rubbed areas. The spine shows major shelf wear. There is a one and a half inch by one inch tear across and along the spine. There is a quarter inch piece missing along the spine fold. Corners are bumped and frayed. Board edges are frayed. Very light foxing. End pages are book lists. Front free page is brittle and has tears. 470 pages which includes index. Seven pages of selections from Frederick Warne and Co.
