Blue cloth boards with red lettering on the spine and front board. The top of the spine is frayed and the spine, itself, has faded in color. The rear hinge is torn but the webbing is intact. Previous owner's signature and date (1933) are written on the front endpaper. The endpapers appear to be advertisements. Upwards of 80 illustrations of pre-1925 Catholic Churches in London. "Most of the Illustrations in this book are from photos by J. Dixon-Scott, London." There is no DJ present. The frontispiece shows a painting of Cardinal Wiseman as a young Priest. Preface written by Stephen Eyre Jarvis, Rector of London's oldest Catholic Church, St. Etheldreda, Ely Place. 301 pages which includes an index plus five pages of advertisements.
